UWO’s Cahoon claims WIAC digs record

It’s old news by now, but I forgot to make a post. The reigning national Player of the Year, UW Oshkosh senior libero Christina Cahoon, eclipsed the WIAC career digs record formerly held by UW-Whitewater’s Angie Wildish (2,365 from 1999-2002). Cahoon scooped the record dig against St. Norbert on Tuesday.

Cahoon has 2,386 digs entering today’s matches against Loras and Northwestern (Minn.). Karen Tobias (2001-04) of Maryville (Tenn.) holds the all-time D-III digs mark with 3,923. Cahoon needs to surpass 2,503 digs to enter the all-time top 25 in D-III.
