Tuesday, Sept 5 Match Day!

Update: No more fun images on the Match Day. I am a joy killer.

St Thomas takes two of the first three sets and then UTD takes the fourth 27-25 forcing a fifth, which St Thomas takes. The last set was tied 9-9 before the Celts take 6 of the last 8 points. They were led by Audrey Cataline with 18 kills and 20 Points. UTD were led by Bailey Schievelbein (22 Points) and Erin Rogers (16.5 Points). UTD had more Points in this one but St Thomas gets the away win. Looks like a rough year for UTD incoming.

Random Thoughts: Now this is an interesting match. St Thomas is 2-0 having beaten LeTourneau twice at home while UT-Dallas is winless. Normally, this is a 3- or 4-set win for UT-Dallas but I really don’t know what this outcome will show. I believe UTD will win because they are UTD. If St Thomas wins then it really opens up the ASC for ETBU or UMHB or HSU or (dare I say) Howard Payne. Even if UTD holds home court, how they do it will be interesting.

As far as me attending…I’d like to but two things have come up. First, the (hot) wife has me scheduled for pickleball. I might be able to get out of that but then we happened to find a 2-week old kitten under or deck outside (check my Twitter feed for pictures). She needs to be fed every few hours. I’m thinking one (or both) of these things is going to keep me from the match.
