Tuesday, Sept. 3 Match Day

Updates: Hungry and ETBU video is running a commercial for Mexican food.

No Alyssa Davis for Centenary it appears. That’s 383 points from last year that hasn’t played a set in 2019.

ETBU with the first set as they hit 0.417 with 17 kills.

Got too hungry but while I was away ETBU won in 3.

Willamette down 2-0 on sets but up 8-1 in the third.

Thankfully the Willamette commercial is for a credit union. Spoke too soon. Mexican food again. 13-1 with a 12 point run by the Bearcats.

Willamette takes the third set big. Going to a 4th.

Match ends 25-15.

Random Thoughts:

ETBU / Centenary is another ASC/SCAC matchup. These matches are really SOS matches for the conferences. A win helps the SOS of your own conference when they play you because they play twice and you want teams in your conference to have the best record as possible. Of course, for the teams, they just want to win. ETBU tries to stay unbeaten.

Willamette gets some work in against a non-DIII opponent.
