Zwaal playing for Pomona but CMS takes first set.

La Verne and Chapman both down a set.

Redlands up 2-0 on Chapman. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Cal Lu up 2-0 on La Verne. The SCIAC doesn’t disappoint.

Tough loss for La Verne tonight. Big win for Cal Lu.

Bigger loss for Chapman as they lose 3-1 to Redlands.

It’s SCIAC [and ASC] Day in the West Region!

The two ranked teams from the ASC play. The McMurry / UMHB is really a must win for McMurry with regards to the Watch List and a possible at-large bid.

Cal Lutheran / La Verne is huge…like Huge…no, really HUGE! La Verne at home has the advantage and a win puts them 2 matches apart with the tiebreaker. Cal Lutheran has CMS next and can’t afford to go 4-6 at this point. Not do or die…maybe do or coma.

I just feel like Redlands could trip up a team playing at home. Chapman is in the best position to absorb such a loss but why go down that road.

Pomona-Pitzer / CMS gets them to the half-way point in conference. Sagehens would love to steal one here but do they have Zwaal healthy?
