Tuesday, Mar. 23 Match Day!

Updates: Well. They didn’t come today. Tough day on the home front.

Looks like ETBU was able to take a set from UTD and I’m sure the place was rocking in that second match.

Whoa. The UMHB/Concordia matches were cancelled due to Covid protocols. I’m not sure what this will do with seeding as both Concordia and UMHB can finish with two losses. Concordia swept UMHB while UMHB beat Concordia in 4-sets. I have a link with conference tiebreakers but I usually have to ask regardless when stuff like this happens. Of course, Concordia would need to beat McMurry twice.

I’m also seeing the HSU/Concordia matches are cancelled for Friday so it looks like what I wrote may not matter. Bottom line, everyone get better.

HSU did win two against Howard Payne. Tough season for HPU.

Random Thoughts: Only the ASC in action today.

UTD/ETBU – I think UTD has shown they are the class of the East Division. They haven’t lost a match and only one set all season. Probably more of the same today.

Concordia/UMBH – Battle for the top spot in the West Division tonight. Both teams with 2 losses and it will be interesting to see if that Concordia loss to HSU will bite them in the end. This is really a tossup to me but playing at home should help UMHB.

Howard Payne/HSU – Both teams are at the bottom of the standings. I think HSU will take this but another tossup, really.
