Tuesday, Apr. 6 Match Day!

Updates: TLU with 4 players with double-digit kills in their first match as they win the 5-setter.

HSU with the sweep and then a 5-set win over Sul Ross State. Annika Canaba gets another triple-double in a losing effort. Alicia Becerra (HSU) led all players with 20 points.

Easier time for TLU the second time as they get the sweep over Schreiner.

Random Thoughts: The ASC finishes their regular season conference schedule tonight. Belhaven gets a little extra action in before they call it quits, too.

Schreiner/TLU – TLU is at the bottom of the SCAC standings but you have to think they will go into these matches with some confidence. They actually hold a Points/Set advantage over Schreiner. I’d normally call for a split here because Schreiner seems to be able to rise their play and win matches they maybe shouldn’t. I just think TLU will take both of these for some reason.

Sul Ross State/HSU – These teams just split their matches last week. Their P/S difference is negligible. So, maybe another split tonight?

Belhaven/MUW – MUW is a provisional DIII team that were swept by Belhaven last week. Should be more of the same tonight.
