Trio of Bradenton Prospects Named to 2025 Florida State League Season All-Star Team

S. Samek

Three players from the Bradenton Marauders were named to the 2025 Florida State Leage season all-star team.

Sammy Stafura,Edward Florentino and Inmer Lobo all made the team.

Stafura was acquired in the Ke ‘Bryan Hayes trade and is ranked seventh in the Pittsburgh Pirates top 30 prospect list. After the trade he played in just four games with the Marauders before being promoted to High-A Greensboro. He finished the season between three teams hitting .238 with six home runs and 60 RBI. He also hit 10 triples and stole 32 bases.

Florentino is the fifth ranked prospect in the Pirates top 30. In 54 games he hit .262 with 10 home runs and 36 RBI. He also stole 29 bases. He won a player of the week award in July and was also the league’s player of the month in July. It’s no surprise he was selected to the all-star team. Though will he be back to that level next year or get the promotion to High-A is the next question. I’d venture on the side of him being promoted and starting 2026 in Greensboro.

Lobo isn’t ranked in the top 30. He pitched in 30 games with an ERA of 1.71 for Bradenton. This then earned him a promotion to High-A. In 20 games at High-A Lobo had a 2.74 ERA, three holds and a save. With this all-star selection Lobo might gain some consideration as a prospect to watch and potentially reach the top 30 list one day.

Good to see some top prospects recognized for good seasons. Can’t wait to continue to cover their climb up the Pittsburgh Pirates system.
