The WNBA is adding a 14th team for the 2026 season. Toronto is getting a team. This is the first WNBA team outside the United States.

I think this is a great idea. League excitement is pretty high after the draft. So, expanding is always something to be excited for. I wonder what the team’s name will be. However, I think we may have to wait till closer to the 2026 season to find out.
