Top Chef Fantasy League ~ Team Picks & Episode 3 Standings

Alright cap’ns – despite the fact that it has taken me nearly a week to get my culinary arse in gear, I finally have what you’ve been waiting for… other than a big fat turkey. (Your families can take care of that.)

Here you will find the team picks, the revised rules, the full scorecard from episode 3, and – most importantly – the standings.

Now before you jump all over me, yes, I am getting rid of a few of the rules, and it had nothing to do with my wanting to increase my score and everything to do with my being lazy.

Basically, I took some of the rules from the only other rando Top Chef League I found online, and they totally suck to keep score of (i.e. Tom compliments the chef – 3pts; after about 10 minutes of tasting, this was completely ridiculous – and arbitrary – to keep track of). Also, if you need any more proof that I’m not padding scores, that stupid, upbeat chick named Beverly who cries all the time is actually now in the lead, and not a damn one of us picked her.*

Anyway, below you will find the scorecard from episode 3 with the streamlined rules in place. You will also find all of the team picks and the standings going into Episode 4. Obviously I’m still working at some kinks, so holla at a sista if you see any glaring errors. (Masters in Journalism; 6th-grade level math comprehension – ya get?) Bon Apetit!

*Since they didn’t declare a winner on this challenge, I gave everyone from the winning team 5 points (same as being in the top 3 of the QuickFire).
