Top 10 Tuesday is a weekly book tag that was run by The Broke and the Bookish but has now moved to That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week she provides a different bookish theme those deep-seated desires to list! Anyone is welcome to join in on their blog, in the comments or any other way.
– Top 10 Beautiful Blue Books –
At first, I wasn’t feeling this week’s topic of ‘books with my favorite color on the cover’ but after doing some digging through my Goodreads shelves I actually had a whale of a time and had so many books to share I’ve had to separate the post out into 2 parts. For part 1, I’ve focused on beautiful blue book covers. Blue is not my favourite colour but I find many blue covers gorgeous and just had to feature them today! Part 2 will then be RAINBOW RECOMMENDATIONS because who doesn’t love rainbows and books?!
As you can probably spot I am completely in love with space and ocean themed books. When I was compiling this list I just happened to end up with a very long list of ‘blue’ books and didn’t even notice the pattern until I put all of the pictures together. There’s something about them that is just really calming and visually pleasing for me – definitely my aesthetic! I used to be a complete fire baby but I think that’s changed in my old(er) age ;D
