Too Much Panic (Not Enough Disco) Sat Chat 8/12/23

Hi friends! I am happy to report that the week ended much better than it started!

So, to update you on the saga, we heard back from Mr. Frugal’s doctor, and he does have a tick-borne illness called Anaplasmosis. He started a regimen of antibiotics last night and is already feeling better. Sadly, this ordeal wiped out his whole vacation, where we planned to spend some time with our girls before they left for school.

Other stuff:

• I totally forgot that the onion painting on the facing page in my sketchbook is a tutorial now up on Critique Club

• The Brush with Nature event at Fields Pond Audubon Center was a lot of fun, and very relaxing and I am glad I had that to end this very stressful week. Painting in nature with a friend is always a good time! I will share photos on the blog tomorrow or you can check out my Instagram if you want to see them now. I decided to make them this week’s #sketchbookfloozy challenge reference/idea jumpstart. I hope you like them!
