Tomato Still Life // Using Watersoluble Oil Sticks for the First Time!
I am so excited to share this project with you today! I’ve recently been getting into using and making traditional oil paint sticks and really enjoying them. I saw two companies (and the products might be the same) come out with water-soluble oil paint sticks, and I mentioned that I wanted to try them. My friend Ophelia sent me a set! How awesome and generous was that?!? I can’t wait to use these more and film a review of them. So far, so good!!

You can find a real-time version of this project in Critique Club. Membership is $5 a month and you get access to all of the long-format art lessons in various media I have posted in Critique Club over the last 6 years with your membership. It’s like Netflix for art! Please enjoy this art timelapse! I hope it inspires you to paint!
