Updates: Some big results yesterday. For the full story, I did a podcast!

• UWSP 5-set win over UWW.

• Chris Newport 4-set win over W&L.

• F&M swept Gettysburg.

• IWU 5-set win over North Central.

A few others also impacted the top NPI teams. The fallout? Washington & Lee and UWW are no longer Top 8. In comes UW-Oshkosh and Colby. Springfield is out as an at-large. In comes UW-Stevens Point. Last three in are UWSP, IWU and Calvin. First three out are Cortland, Springfield and Northwestern. A cute SCAC note just to show you how close this is right now; Southwestern got a bump due to their UWSP win and are now ahead of Trinity. These two teams are very close in NPI. With NPI, you can win or lose and not even play.

Hope and Chicago are in the fourth. 2-1 Hope right now.

McMurry takes the first 2 sets but Dallas forces a fourth.

Trinity gets the sweep. 17, 13 and 18. Only 9 attacking errors for TU in 3 sets.

McMurry gets the 3-1 win but Dallas is getting tougher as the season goes along. Marcette Williams of Dallas had 19 kills to lead both teams.

Chicago forced a fifth set but Hope won 15-9.

Random Thoughts: McMurry is sitting pretty in the SCAC right now. This is a match they will need to win to stay there. Schreiner is winless in conference and that probably continues as taking a match at Trinity is a tough task. NPI says DePauw and Cal Lutheran are pretty close with DePauw a slight favorite. I haven’t had eyes on DePauw this year so no clue.
