Thursday, Oct 10 Match Day!
Update: The Latvians have put together this really cool app that has a number of features in it. One is a daily schedule with the team’s NPI. The big NPI matches for the day are:
Amherst (55.38) at Springfield (57.84)
Concordia-Chicago at Edgewood (55.37)
Whittier (56.39) at Caltech
Not a lot to chew on. There is a low NPI match today that is pretty fun: Knox (32.99) at Blackburn (36.35). The match is at 7 pm Central and here (maybe) is the stream: Video. I’m not trying to make fun of these teams, at all. The variety of DIII is wonderful and here you have two sets of teams giving their all on the court.
Whittier winning big in the first set. I don’t think these teams will keep me up late tonight.
In the matches mentioned above, Springfield swept Amherst and Edgewood swept Concordia. In the Knox/Blackburn match, Blackburn had an easy victor. Pour one out for Knox and their struggles tonight.
Random Thoughts: Caltech still hasn’t figured out where their matches are streamed despite their deal with FloSports. I used the Whittier link who have an SID with that knowledge. A single match but at least it’s a conference match. Whittier should have this without too much of an issue.
