Thelma & Louise (1991)

Director: Ridley Scott

Starring: Susan Sarandon, Geena Davis, Harvey Keitel, Brad Pitt

An Arkansas waitress and a housewife shoot a rapist and take off in a ’66 Thunderbird.

A classic, I admit. It starts off very interestingly with the ‘girls-in-peril’ premise. As the film progresses, though, the protagonists become nothing more than downright criminals and maybe as a result of this they deserved their fate.

Brilliant acting from the entire cast.
