The Wonders of Snipping Tool

Oct 18, 2011

Since installing Windows 7 several months ago, I discovered a new application called Snipping Tool.

It has to be one of the most useful tools I have ever used!

It basically allows you to capture screen shots of anything on the desktop. Many of the pictures on this very blog (e.g. the Volleyball Box Scores) has been captured as a screen shot. I know you can capture it as a video file but that’s something to be learnt for another day. This YouTube clip shows all.

*** Update 2 February 2021 | I still use this tool regularly even now ***
