While the Kingdom of Korea is under occupation by the Japanese, an old and experienced hunter is challenged by the hunt of the last tiger.

South Korea’s answer to ‘The Ghost and the Darkness’. Visually stunning, action-packed, suspenseful, intense and emotional, ‘The Tiger’ is one of the best films I’ve seen!! This was beyond awesome! The film has an incredible amount of emotion on both the human and animal side. Great constant foreboding atmosphere. This is a truly remarkable film!

The film won numerous awards including Best Director, Technical Award (for Visual Effects), High Technology Special Award, and was also nominated for Best Film, Best Screenplay, Best Art Direction, Best Actor and Best Costume Design.
