The Story of Rosaria Butterfield

The Thursday feature of the Worldly Saints blog will be sharing of a media clip (audio or video) that has either educated, equipped, provoked or entertained us in some way.

I put another book on my “Most Wanted List” after watching the below interview. It is an interview by Russell Moore (President of the Southern Baptist Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission) with Rosaria Butterfield.

If you don’t know her story, you will hear some of in the interview. In a sentence, she is a former Professor at Syracuse University who was a liberal, lesbian and hater of all things Christianity. She is now a Reformed believer in Jesus Christ. Her book The Secret Thoughts of an Unlikely Convert goes into more detail – I believe.

Hear her testimony here and pay attention to some of the advice she gives us about how to reach the LGBT community.
