“Bronte Beach Baywatch”

Sydney November 2013 (2 images – my last post for 2013)

At this end of the world, the weather is heating up as we enter summer. For many, the beach scene above is the only way to experience a white Christmas. And perhaps the most famous beach to be at is Bondi beach which is usually crowded to capacity on Christmas Day with families, travellers and revellers. Nothing like a barbecue at the beach, with sun, sand and water. And don’t forget the flies and sunburn. 🙂

It is a busy time of the year at Bondi. Most people know about the Harbour fireworks to welcome the new year in Sydney, but there is also a rave party and fireworks at Bondi beach on new years too.

“Bondi Beach – the place to be”

And it is now close enough to Christmas, that I need to start getting worried organised, so no more posts this year from me. Blogging has certainly had its rewards and I’m delighted to have made friends along the way. Wherever you may be, allow me to wish you all the best for the season, and a Merry Christmas, hopefully spent with family and friends. And a happy and safe new year to you all. See you in 2014!
