Comfort is such a simple premise, it’s a necessary requirement in almost every aspect of our lives, natural postures that adapt around particular circumstances. Favouring your right leg when vertical while conversing rather than distributing your weight evenly for more balanced posture, simply because its comfortable. We all have specifically designated areas of comfort whether it’s reclining exhaustively on your bed that has moulded into a modulated imitation of your back, or a favourite chair that comfortably fits the contours of your derrière, delicately caressing the profile of your behind that is shaped into the curvature of your butt after excessive use. The gratification of opulence never diminishes, it’s a constant validating state, a reprieve from the conformities of sitting up straight to amplify a visual courtesy that is deemed presentable. But when it comes to gaming the flexibility of comfort can never be underestimated. You could be the most competitive, dexterous competitor, but unless your disposition is in an acceptably comfortable position, then even the simplest of negotiations become timid punctuations. Comfort is all relative of course, but through extensive practical testing, geometric algorithms, months of calculated directives that incorporated a variant of numerical arithmetic so confounding that even the most astute of mathematicians struggle to comprehend the singular theory. Not to mention an enlightening consultation with a magic eight ball; I have discovered that regardless of furnishings, locality or even accessibility, it all comes down to the minimalistic clothing we adorn.

The constrictive attires that encroach us, merely for the preservation of our dignity–as well as benefit of others visualised sensitivity–restrict our immersion with the adornment of needless woollen shackles. Obviously I’m not suggesting that a you instigate a deliberate, and probably illegal clothing amnesty, nor am I implying that I parade around my house with various parts of my anatomy modestly obscured by conspicuously warbling birds or range of foliage protecting my humility, but merely conveying a constructive suggestion. I often feel neutralised by the hypothetical oppression of material hugging my extremities, by emancipating this irritation I swiftly release the bonds of rigidity. Let me elaborate; when I game my physical position is constantly shifting, adapting and manoeuvring depending on the altering circumstances. You lean back exacerbated by your meandering tepid progression, recline with indifference, angle forwards fully immersed in your activities, diverting your stout determination or displace yourself entirely from your initial dominion due to the accentuated intensity. You need to remain functional, but also mobile which is easier to achieve if you’re not enduring the duplication of lifting your sleeves from continued plunging or adjusting the inhibiting buckle on your belt. By foregoing the retention that envelopes your immersion you can engage with mediated composure, with fluid and composed directives.

Perhaps I’m embellishing the extreme nature of a self diagnosed affliction that doesn’t exist, and I may have constructed a contrived antidote to figurative ailment, but honestly try it. Disregard your enduring conformities, cast aside your loose-fitting exteriors and unleash your…um, hang on, I think this dialogue has persisted long enough. Please though, I was vague with my graphical alleviations by not soliciting mass hysteria and revulsion with my statements, please replicate such cordiality by not submitting your own gratuitous pronunciations. So please don’t send me visual authentication for my appraisal, I’ll just take your word for it.

Let me know how you best enjoy gaming. Cheers.
