The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

It’s difficult to recall Oblivion without remembering the flaws, the dull and repetitive side quests, the poor third person perspective, and the hideously ugly citizens that inhabited Feralden, so your be happy to know that The Elder Scrolls V isn’t just refining its past effort, its revitalizing the series. One of Oblivions defining strengths was the exceptionally captivating world that you could explore of your own accord, in Skyrim, the graphical improvements that are being implemented far surpass that of the previous game in the series. Skyrim is a vast and beautiful creation, from the snow-covered mountains to the stunning green fields, complimented perfectly by flowing glistening rivers, this really could be the best looking game on the Playstation.
The inhabitants of Skyrim have also received a much-needed makeover. The individuals no longer resemble extras from the lord of the rings, making conversations with people a lot less nauseating, and it’s not just their looks that have been enhanced. The way the people live feels more realistic, with everyone living seemingly normal lives in their respective towns. Although you are in control of the progress that you make with your journey, your still need to be weary of your reactions. Killing a random villager could have grave repercussions, such as effecting what is available in the local weapons shop, because you’ve needlessly and ruthlessly decapitated the shops supplier (oops!). Add to that the huge dragons to brawl, the ability to defeat enemy’s with your voice, and did I mention there are massive dragons?! Their freakin huge! Not that im scared or anything? “gulp”
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is released 11/11/11
Can Skyrim live up to its high expectations?
