The Artist (Trailer)

This movie has been the early favorite in the Oscar race for Best Picture. Of course this doesn’t mean it’s a lock, many early frontrunners like The Social Network and Brokeback Mountain fell by the wayside in the home stretch losing to come-from-behind wins by The King’s Speech and Crash respectively, movies with less hype that the frontrunners. Plus, what makes this movie unique, is that not only is it in black and white, but it’s an actual silent movie. Let’s see if it actually takes home the top prize next year. I’m sufficiently intrigued.
