The Titans downed No. 4 Emory in three games. The Emory head coach sounded concerned about facing Oshkosh in an interview on the the school’s athletics Web site. For good reason, it turns out. http://www.go.emory.edu/Audio/vb/R09_0009.MP3

Beating the No. 4 team in the nation 21, 26 and 23 should quiet the naysayers who said the Titans had not beaten anyone during their winning streak. After rolling over weaker teams for most of the season, Oshkosh has now swept two straight ranked opponents and won 57 consecutive games, the fourth best streak in any NCAA Division. What else can they do?

Now, the secret is out. If no one believed the streak was for real before today, they should now. It will be interesting to see how the Titans respond to an even bigger target on their backs.
