Boggart Brewery: Wilsons Park: (England: Golden Ale : ABV 4.5%)

Visual: Steamy like cloudy fruit juice. Thin white head; pale wheat colour.

Nose: Pale hops; light ambient sugar, like the air of a well stocked cake store.

Body: Straight up bitter with a tangled edge. Caramalisation effect. Slight spinach. Lots of dark woods not to be entered.

Finish: Hops, seaweed sushi wrap.

Conclusion: It matches its pump image well with its feeling of dredged water laden with unknown depths.

Unfortunately while it makes a good tale of its beer, the taste itself is unexceptional in all things. It’s a bitter that can be drunk. Don’t gouge out your eyes to avoid it but that’s the best I can say.
