Sunday, Sept. 15 Match Day!

Updates:  Whoa, TLU snuck in a match on me.

TLU 3 Rhodes 1

At the St. Louis airport, but couldn’t make the earlier flight. Looks like I have some time to write. Did a lot of driving over the past 2 days. Missouri, Indiana and Illinois with a lot of corn and soy beans in the window.

4th set point is the charm as HPU takes set one 25-23 over Louisiana College.

LC comes back strong in the second and leads in the third. LC now up 2-1 but HPU is up big in set four. Going 5?

LC and HPU do go to a fifth. Oxy and Santa Cruz have started.

HPU with the 5-set win. They made fewer attacking errors, which was probably the difference.

Santa Cruz survives set one and then wins big in set two. And now the match.

Noon (All times central)
Howard Payne vs Louisiana College	Video	Stats	HPU 3 LC 2
2:00 p.m.
UC Santa Cruz at Occidental	Video	Stats	UCSC 3 Oxy 0

Random Thoughts: I will be flying back today so I’ll update when I can. The HPU / Louisiana College match does not count towards conference.
