Sunday, Oct. 6 Match Day!

Updates:  No issues for Colorado College with Austin today although the last two sets were close.

UST pulled that first set magic to jump on Southwestern. They then took set three. SU trying to force a fifth set.

It appears Southwestern has lost another setter. Lauren Crabtree is the last woman standing. Oh, and she’s two kills from a triple double as they play the fifth set.

Cancun spa WiFi is not great. Watching this match but almost impossible. #FirstWorldProblems

UST up 12-9 in fifth-set. Big win if they can get it. And they get that win 15-10. Nice job by the Celts. Not a good look for Southwestern and any NCAA Tournament hopes they have. With that said, the Celts don’t count as a DIII opponent and therefore the loss has virtually no effect.

Random Thoughts:  It’s SCAC day as they finish the second half of their cross-over.

Trinity/Southwestern highlights the day as these rivals go at it again. Southwestern will probably still be without their starting setter and I doubt this young team understand what is in front of them.

Austin College seems to give Colorado College trouble at times.

St. Thomas (TX) is interesting because they seem to start every match really well and then fade. You have to be ready for the Celts and that set one energy.
