Steelers Add Gentry, Wilsons in Round 2/3 in 2024 Draft

The Pittsburgh Steelers keep addressing needs during the 2024 NFL Draft. After taking an OT in Troy Fautanu in round one they decided to address needs at center and wide receiver in rounds two and three.

Zac Frazier, a center from West Virginia is coming to Pittsburgh as the second-round pick. With center being a position that was mentioned quite a bit before the draft this pick makes a lot of sense.

In the third round they drafted wide receiver Roman Wilson from Michigan. Prior to the draft they were in talks to acquire a wide receiver from a couple of different teams. However, neither of those trades have come to fruition and they elect to select Wilson. It fits another need which is good.

Update to this post I missed Payton Wilson from NC State coming over with pick 98. He is a linebacker.

The draft continues to be solid for the Steelers. Can’t wait to see what they cook up on day three. So far, they have an A grade, but can they keep it up?
