St. Olaf keeps pace in MIAC
No. 15 St. Olaf had been in a bit of a funk, but the Oles won at No. 27 Saint Mary’s in four sets tonight. The win keeps the Oles tied for first in the MIAC with No. 18 Concordia-Moorhead and No. 14 St. Thomas. CCM and UST won tonight as well. All three MIAC leaders are 6-1.
WIAC: No. 8 UW-Whitewater (6-1) and No. 10 UW Oshkosh (5-0) both won tonight to remain in the running for the title. National Player of the Year, UWO libero Christina Cahoon, did not play tonight in a four-set win over UW-Stevens Point. UWSP’s leader in kills and blocks, Morgan Bartkowiak, was injured early tonight at UWO. UWW swept a road match at UW-La Crosse.
MWC: Beloit downed Grinnell in four. Both teams have two MWC losses and trail leader Monmouth (6-0).
NAC: Edgewood swept Rockford to remain the lone undefeated. Wisconsin Lutheran and Benedictine both won tonight to move to 7-2 and remain tied for third in conference.
