St. Norbert, La Verne last two NCAA D-III unbeatens

Previously unbeaten Eastern and Tufts both dropped matches this week, leaving St. Norbert and No. 3 La Verne as the last two unbeaten teams in D-III women’s volleyball.

Augustana, which last week dropped UW-Oshkosh from the ranks of the unbeatens, knocked No. 23 Eastern from the unbeaten list yesterday. Union swept Tufts today.

La Verne next puts its unbeaten streak on the line Oct. 7 against Whittier. Then, in one of the most anticipated matchups of the year, No. 1 Juniata travels from Pennsylvania to California to battle the No. 3 Leopards on Oct. 10.

St. Norbert hosts Finlandia and UW-Stevens Point on Oct. 8.
