The 5 most interesting things about the movie

  1. Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss didn’t get along during filming, something they both admit to. Dreyfuss says that Murray yelled at him “Everybody hates you!” and  even threw an ashtray at him while he was inebriated on set. Murray says his job was to annoy Dreyfuss and that he enjoyed that. From what I’ve read, Bill Murray was mostly the one at fault. Whatever he was going through, more than just Dreyfuss found him difficult to work with.

  2. Frank Oz (aka Miss Piggy and Yoda) directed this film and it was released by Disney.

  3. Speaking of Frank Oz and the Muppets, remember when Leo gets to the party that was thrown for him and he’s delighted to see his sister Lilly there? The actress who plays her was a fellow muppeteer with Oz on .

  4. And speaking of Disney, their highest grossing animated film that year was . Their highest grossing live-action film, however, was

  5. This is both Murray’s and Dreyfuss’s favourite movie of their own.

Congratulations This is your week.

Send all your positive vibes, all your thoughts and prayers our way here in Sussex. I threw my back out again. I’m fine and will likely be back to work by Monday, but the last few days were tough. I’ve written before how my lungs are intolerant A-holes, and my bladder is super annoying (though upon reflection, I think I’ve been too hard on him and that his problems aren’t all his fault… I believe it’s a fat, lazy prostate that doesn’t know how and when to get out of the freaking way). And if all of that is true, my back is a little scared-y cat that freaks out and freezes up when things aren’t just so. The slightest wrong move and every muscle is like, “Everyone grab a hold of the vertical pole! And hang on for dear life!!” And then I’m all like, “Guys! Guys! Calm the bleep down!” But to no avail. I’m telling you, this body of mine is like being surgically attached to the entire cast of 24/7.
