Snow in New Orleanes (St Louis Cathedral in Watercolor)
Hi friends! Last week, my friend Carey posted photos of New Orleans in a snowstorm, and they were so pretty! especially a photo of St Louis Cathedral in the snow. I asked if I could use his photo to paint from, and he graciously allowed it!

You can watch the timelapse of this painting below. I had a bit of trouble with the paper because the sizing went bad on one edge but it turned out all right in the end. You can find a real-time tutorial of this painting including a traceable pattern in Critique Club.

I mentioned this video by Parka Blogs about resizing watercolor paper
Special thanks to Carey & Loretta for the reference photo, Lora for the watercolors, and Fanna for the paper. This was a group effort! I hope this inspires you to use your good supplies now and not to wait for the perfect future project (your supplies could go bad in the meantime!) Til next time Happy crafting!
