Spring Training baseball is underway. The Pittsburgh Pirates had a pretty solid opening weekend of games with a 10-5 win over the Baltimore Orioles and a 5=1 win over the Minnesota Twins.

Now they have a matchup with in-state rival Philidelphia Phillies. Pitching in this matchup will be Paul Skeans.

Skeans is making his first start of the spring and first after winning the Rookie of the Year award in 2024. How would he do in this outing? Let’s find out.

Turns out he will have to wait as the game is rained out. Jared Jones is set to start tomorrow against the Atlanta Braves. So, Skenes fans will have to wait as his spring debut is pushed back.
