Skate AMERICA. Chinese Senior Individual Nationals

Skate America is this weekend. I capitalized AMERICA because there is like 7 Americans competing including Gracie Gold. She finished 12th out of 18 skaters last year at Nationals and has no right being given a spot at Skate America. 11 girls earned it ahead of her. USFSA is worse than USAG when it comes to giving free passes to skaters from the past.

The Shang Chunsong Olympic watch continues. (Leave me to my dreams) She qualified 8th but finished sixth in the AA. My girl is INCHING her way to one of the two extra spots a team is given (earned) even with the damn lowballing she receives on her best event but she keeps improving and that is all that matters. #TeamChunsong (She fell on beam in qualifying but had the 3rd best score on beam in the AA. Shang also had the third best floor score during the AA.

Gotta be more consistent Chunsong if you wanna make this Olympic team.
