Sikoryak’s Constitution

Don’t get too excited! The show advertised above is from a quarter century ago. We share the image for two reasons: 1) In celebration of the Halloween season, and 2) it was designed by the terrific R. Sikoryak, who has an exciting new project in play:

Constitution Illustratred is Sikoryak’s latest graphic take on a well-known but too seldom read document. As I wrote in my recent post, EVERYONE should read the U.S. Constitution and keep a copy handy; maybe Bob’s version, in which the various clauses and sections and amendments are presented by well known comics characters will make it easier for you. It’s like taking a Flintstone’s Chewable. In fact, it’s almost EXACTLY like that. He and a small cast are reading from it tonight at Dixon Place in New York (and a timely presentation it is, too, less than a week prior to an election that could well END the U.S. Constitution). Tickets and info on the event are here. But if you can’t make it to the reading, please get his book. Details on the book are here.

Oh, also, Happy Birthday, John Adams!
