THE GOLDEN HOUR, by Cave Urban.

Statement: The paradox of the sun begins and ends with a golden hour at the horizon. Sunrise and sunset are twins in spectacle but strangers in meaning; in a single day they declaim renewal and extinction.

BIG INTENTIONS, by Mikaela Castledine.

Statement: In Buddhism, building a stupa gains you merit for the journey to enlightenment – if built with intention. Making art – with the right intention – leads to your own Nirvana. The works grow organically out of crocheted threads, a process Castledine finds meditative.
