SCAC Preview

I’m writing this on my tablet in another country so this will be short. Forgive any errors. The SCAC has released their conference preview and it has Trinity on top.

The conference defending Champions received seven first place votes from the coaches with Southwestern and Colorado College receiving one a piece. Southwestern finished second in the poll followed closely by Colorado College in what should be another competitive conference race. I had Southwestern winning the conference in my preview but it’s never wrong to think Trinity could win another title.

When you think of this conference and their teams you really can put the nine teams into three tiers. My preview and this agree on the teams in each tier with a slightly different order in two of them. I mentioned the first with Southwestern and Trinity being swapped. The second is the next tier with the coaches having St Thomas ahead of Austin College where I disagree. We agree on the teams and order in the third tier.
