Updates: We’ve got 22 High NPI matches today!

Late updates today. What’s going on in my life is that it’s TCU homecoming and I married a TCU Showgirl. So, last night it was an alumni get-together for that group. It was really difficult for me to be at a bar with a bunch of TCU Showgirls. Still, I was able to persevere. Hero. Today, she marches in some homecoming walk. That means it’s all TCU from 11 am to probably 7 or so tonight. Go Frogs.

Updating now. LETU beating HSU is a bit surprising. Just really close between all of the teams in the ASC outside of ETBU.

Chapman giving CMS all they can handle tonight. Shae Delany got some time tonight so good to see her back.

Babson sweeps Middlebury so good win for them. Still no clue about Middlebury. Tufts sweeps Babson so good win for them. Still no clue about Babson.

A number of sweeps. GFU up 2-1 as are Caltech.

The Oshkosh/Stevens Point match went 5-sets. Last three sets were decided by 2 points each.

The only High NPI upsets tonight were Tufts over Babson and Springfield over Middlebury.

GFU wins in 4-sets while Oxy forces a fifth set trying to get their first conference win.

Caltech leads set five, 7-0. Ouch.

15-4 for Caltech.

Here are the High NPI matches (55+ vs 55+) tonight:

Region X Matches:

Random Thoughts: Every conference is in action today.

Randolph-Macon finishes their swing through Trinity with the hosts.

Not too excited over the ASC and SCAC matches. Seems like the favorite shouldn’t have a lot of trouble.

CMS/Chapman is interesting. CMS should dominate but Chapman also beat a Ray’less La Verne team so who is to say. Can the Panthers pull off the double?

Willamette/George Fox out of the NWC is interesting. If Willamette wants to have any hope at a Top 4 finish this is a must win.

Redlands/Cal Lutheran is a fight for one of the Top 5 spots in the SCIAC.

Oxy/Caltech is Occidentals best chance at a win in conference. Caltech won their first meeting.

Pomona-Pitzer/Whittier never disappoints. Should be a good one that will help determine placement within the Top 5.
