Saturday, November 4 Match Day

Update: UMHB wins 3-1 over Concordia. Sets up the final for the ASC. UTD needs to beat UMHB once to get an NCAA bid. UMHB will have to win twice.

UTD takes the first set easily. Another gear needed by the Cru.

UTD almost pulls off the come back in set two but it’s all even.

Kristyn Schott subs in with UTD on the ropes just to serve and gets 2 aces. UTD takes the third set. Up 2-1.

UMHB ties it up. And we’ll have another final.

I’m in a WiFi black hole for the next few hours but Congrats to Colorado College. First SCAC title 5 years.

And congrats to UTD. Probably means the West gets 8 teams in the tournament. La Verne is on life support. Regional Host site is now probably Trinity.

CMS still rolling as they sweep Cal Lu for the SCIAC title.

Random Thoughts: Shane Kimura, coach of Linfield, will retire after this match. He’s been coaching 40 seasons at Linfield! He started when he was still a student. What a legacy to leave behind.

Championship Saturday for the ASC, SCAC and SCIAC today!
