MIT takes set four 30-28 against Tufts. Going five.
Wow. Just. Wow. Colorado College wins in 5-sets against a great Pacific Lutheran team. Jordan Mullen with an amazing 4th set.
Back from bad Wifi. Well, my great plan of getting people to tell my wife how lucky she is failed miserably. I had people come up but she decided to take a walk between matches so epic fail. She did think it was funny when a Colorado College dad pulled it on her at a restaurant so some satisfaction.
All credit in the world to CMS tonight. Southwestern surprised them early and held on for the first set but CMS was too tough. The tipping point was set 3 with SU up 25-24 after a great come back. CMS would score 3 straight to pull off the win and the 4th set wasn’t competitive. Going to be a great one tomorrow with Colorado College and CMS.
Random Thoughts: Some good matches Friday at Southwestern but today will be special. Northwestern has their final today and I see them winning it. IWU has their final and this is the last chance we’ll get to kick Calvin out of the tournament before the matches head to their place. I have a soft spot for Berry but they have their work cut out for them against Emory at their home. Carnegie Mellon was almost bounced on Friday…can’t afford any let downs.
I’ll again be at the Southwestern Regional. This time my wife will be there so if anyone wants to come up to me and say “hi”, I’d really like you to turn to her and say, “You must feel really lucky to be married to him.” It will drive her crazy.
