Sat Chat 4/16/22
Hi friends! I want to wish all who celebrate a Happy Easter tomorrow! I picked up fixing for dinner at home with hubby and the kids tomorrow. Did you know that Tofurkey makes a vegan “ham”? That’s no boloney waka-waka! Anyway, here is this week’s sat chat:
Here is the stuff I mentioned:
Free class on May 5th at 8pm ET all about choosing the perfect paper for your colored pencil (and mixed media) projects Please sign up even if you are not sure if you can make it live, they will send you a reminder the day of class with a zoom link to join.
Dragonfly colored pencils class at Micheals on May 19th at 8pm ET. This class is $20 and seating is limited. If you purchase the class and change your mind you can get a full refund if requested 24 hours before the class. A recording will be provided to everyone who purchased the class the following day. If the class is already full you can try back a day or two before the class to see if there are any cancellations
New lesson is up in Critique Club (I actually did a bit more to it after I filmed Sat Chat LOL!)
My new Watercolor Crayon Workshop is launched and you can save 50% with my Launch special! Use coupon code: CRAYON50 if the discount doesn’t appear automatically.
Canson XL Sand Grain Paper This comes in grey and natural, acid-free and has no optical brighteners, and is a steal! 40 sheet pads of 9″x12″ are $5.67 and 11″x14″ pads are $7.35. I think it is a great value! It’s textured but is not as rough as sanded paper. I am really enjoying it for oil pastels, soft pastels, and watercolor crayons.
Arteza round watercolor paper 100% cotton *Sadly out of stock
Swivel palette that I fixed in Frugal Friday video
Go Easel that would be perfect for acrylic paint party teachers (but a bit pricy)
Product to avoid: Art Beek 100% cotton watercolor paper block. If that is 100% cotton I’ll eat my hat.
That’s all for today! Happy crafting!
