Sat chat 1/4/25 Happy New year!

Hi friends! It is the first Sat Chat of the new year! I hope 2025 treats you well. How do you like to start the year? I like to reset my studio. I do what’s called the year “defrag” where I pull out categories of supplies, make sure everything is still good and put them back in order. I pull things I won’t use again to donate and toss anything that is dried out (which is minimal because I go through this process every year.) I find this yearly ritual very comforting and inspiring because I get to refresh my memory of everything I have and it helps me think up new projects to make. I’ll post a video on this process in a few days but for now, here’s shat chat!

Another thing I do every year is make an archive of all the lessons I posted to Critique Club that year. I know that some students would rather purchase a collection of lessons and have lifetime access to them rather than subscribe to a monthly membership and I want to meet you where you are at and as always I give 50% off courses when I launch them so you can get the best deal!

  • This purchase gives lifetime access to all 24 real-time narrated art lessons posted in Critique Club during 2024 for one low price, see the thumbnail above for a preview of the tutorials in the class.

  • The regular price is $60, with coupon $30 (before tax if applicable)

  • Use coupon code: 2024 if the discount doesn’t appear automatically

  • Offer ends 2/1/25

If you aim to paint every day in 2025 the critique club archives can help you with this. Every video lesson is broken down into bite-sized chunks. A complex lesson may take a couple of hours to paint but since the lessons are broken down into shorter videos you can pick away at a project a little each day so it’s not overwhelming. I also love how the classes are organized with all your videos and photos for each lesson in one spot, making it easy to pick up where you left off. If you are interested please click any of the links above to check out the lessons. I would love to paint with you in 2025! Happy crafting!
