Sasaki Makes MLB Spring Debut

One of the top MLB free agent signings this past offseason was the LA Dodgers signing Roki Sasaki. Sasaki quickly became the number one ranked prospect in the top 100 after signing. Well now he got to pitch in his first spring training. game. Let’s see how that went.

Turns out the start went really well. He struck out five in three innings of relief pitching work. He didn’t allow any runs and only walked one batter while allowing two hits. the Dodgers would then go on to beat the Red 4-2. Sasaki didn’t receive the decision in the game though.

Sasaki should make his first start in another Dodger’s spring training game most likely next Tuesday. Afterward he is scheduled to start against the Cubs during the MLB Toyko Series March 18th-19th 2025.

It was cool to see some of the skill on display that made him a high profile signing and top prospect. Can’t wait to see how the season goes for Sasaki.
