Review of NEW Artfinity Alcohol Markers

Hi friends! Today we are looking at another budget-friendly alcohol marker but the big difference with this one is that it has ink refills! The markers come in 300 colors and the refill inks come in the most popular 100 colors are about half the price of Copic refills and 2 and a half times the size. that alone made them worth a look for me. You can watch the full review in the player below.

Artfinity markers and refills are being sold by Jerrys Artarama. They are also selling sets on Amazon.

Pros:

  • Price: Markers range from $1.60 -$2.20 each in sets at Jerrys or $3.19

  • Open stock

  • Brush Chisel tip combo

  • 300 colors available

  • No-roll barrell like Copic

  • Color name on the marker body

  • Refill inks available (25ml for $3.69 at Jerry’s)

  • Inks blend well

  • Brush nibs are reversible so if the tip frays you can pull it out and flip it around for a fresh tip.

  • Logical color numbering system.

Cons:

  • The nibs are fiber like Ohuhu and nor neoprene (foam rubber) like Copic

Bottom line: The quality of the nibs is most similar to Ohuhu, in fact, the Ohuhu replacement nibs should fit these. These are about double the price of Ohuhu in sets, the only advantage is Artfinity has refill inks. I don’t recognize the color number system for the Artfinity markers. I wish it was the same as other budget markers as their refills are a much better value than Copic refills (2.5x more for half the price!) I really like that they are offering refills for 100 of the 300 colors. I am sure that is what is making the Artfinity markers more costly than equivalent quality markers. I probably won’t buy more markers but I would buy the ink refills to reink other brands of markers I own.

I hope you found this helpful and til next time happy crafting!
