REview of a Very Beautiful Colored Pencil Gift Box Set

Hi friends! About a month ago Andstal Stationery Shop reached out to me to see if I would like the review The Phoenixcolor set of 100 Colors of China colored pencils. The pencils looked beautiful and the packaging was exquisite so I accepted. I actually even filmed an unboxing video because I could tell by the care it was packaged with that it was going to be beautiful to unbox. Here is that video. These pencils are available for retail at Aliexpress and also wholesale at Alibaba if you had a shop and wanted to sell them. I think they would make a lovely gift due to the packaging. They have also just popped up on Amazon but the shipping time is long (probably shipping from China) and they are more expensive. The sets are available in a 50 or 100 color set spread across 5 book style boxes in a cardboard sleeve. The smaller pack has 5 boxes of 10 pencils and the larger has 5 boxes of 20. Pros:

• Beautiful packaging-gift quality

• Nice build quality, centered leads and foil stamped designs on barrell

• Colors layer well (5-8 layers) Colors blend well after 3-5 layers are down

• Soluble with OMS, Alcohol and water

• Works well on a variety of paper both toned and white

Cons:

• Not available open stock

• No lightfastness info

• These have to be ordered from China so you might have to wait for delivery

Here is a close up of the box fronts. Thit is a beautiful die-cut overlay on each more which really elevates the presentation.

Who are these best for? I think this would be a wonderful gift for any colored pencil or stationary enthusiast. These would also be nice for someone who uses colored pencils occasionally as they perform well and look great in their book volume style storage. It is also a nice collector’s item. I don’t think they are the most practical choice for an artist or colorist who goes through pencils quickly as they would run out of favorites fast. The bottom line is that these are beautiful, good quality and I recommend them.
