Rena Marie’s Food Spotlight: Big Ben’s Desserts in Upstate South Carolina

Recently a friend posted a picture of a half and half cake consisted of a Pineapple Upside Down Cake and a Strawberry Short Cake. My mouth started salivating at the sight of the glorious cakes covered in mounds of strawberries, pineapples, cherries, and whipped topping. As a nice gesture for my friend’s birthday yesterday I was hoping to be able to get this cake. As a last minute it was I contacted Ben Hall (owner and master baker of Big Ben Desserts) and asked if he had anything on hand or if he could make the cake that I wanted to try so bad. With pure luck he was able to provide me with the cake I wanted to present my friend with for her birthday. I was shocked and in awe that he made my order last minute and meet me up with my delivery. Needless to say with one bite of each cake I was in Heaven. Big Ben Desserts prepare sweet concoctions for any and all occasions.
