Quick Winter 2019 Update
Not much going on here you guys. Winter has been mostly snow and ice and more snow and more ice and etc. etc. etc.
(That is actually and early winter photo before things really Got Real, and that makes me sad because at the time it seemed like YUCK WINTER AM I RIGHT and these days winter is making me hate life and I hate that. Hate. HAAAAATE. Anyway.)
One day to beat the winter blues we went to Milwaukee! It was a fun day. We hit up Discovery World and ate some food and drank some beer and God Bless Milwaukee, is what I am getting at.

So I took some photos of myself all reflect-y-like in the plexiglass, because it was all distorted and looked like I lost a good 20 lbs. and I am totally here for that, bendy plexiglass partition, thank you.
Also got some plexiglass action (less bendy, womp) with my fav Milwaukee Art Museum.
Anyhoo, back to the science-y museum exploring parts.

Peter STILL talks about this on the regular, the thunderstorm that fell over the lake recreation. He was pretty glued to this exhibit.
Lunch was had at City Lights. Food was fine. For once in my life I failed to get food pics, but that was more out of pure laziness. The beers were interesting and fun and sure, not all a hit, but not a fail by any means. The rose-wine inspired taster was surprising and dare I say: addictive. And the staff was super friendly and kind. In short: totally welcome after a long chilly day, for sure. Also the building was way fascinating.
The boys got fancy artisanal sodas that THEY HATED but they also got cheap Haribo gummies that they loved and they did a Cheers but with gummy cola bottles. Meh, it works.
And then before we left we hit up IKEEEEEAAAA because: I mean who turns down a shot at IKEA. We got some rando bits and most importantly I got two cheap-as-shit houseplants that are still happily kicking it so thank you, bless you, IKEA, I will always love you.
That’s all, babes. But the sun is out more and it’s finally thawing up here and I promise there will be more camera action shortly. Promise. For real. Let’s all hang in there, spring is for real coming I swears.
