It didn’t take long to see another expansion team coming to the PWHL. After last week’s announcement of the expansion to Vancouver now the PWHL is making an expansion announcement today.

Seattle is the new team coming to the PWHL for the 2025-2026 season. They become the eighth team to join the league. Climate Pledge Area will be the home area.

A team logo and name should be coming eventually as well. Can’t wait to see what the name becomes. Yet in the meantime good to see the league adding another team in short order.
