Puerto Galera (The Pictures)

Of course, you’ll have to indulge me once again, because what vacation is complete without my little exercises in photography?  So since I told you about the resort and also our experiences, here are a couple of pictures that I happen to take while we were there.

I have my token flora pics, mainly because they’re one of the easiest models, since they hardly move and they have instant make-up, so they’re always ready to face the camera.

Strangely enough, I find taking pictures of people most difficult.  So I tried practicing shooting the people who worked or played around the area, especially the fisherfolk who passed by the dock where we’d hang out most of the time.

And can I resist shooting infrared photos?  No.  Since there was hardly any sun the whole time we were there, I took advantage of the 30 minutes or so that there was some weak rays peeking from the heavy clouds on the first day.  We never saw the sun again after that.  At least I was able to take 2 pictures.

And my favorite model the entire time we were there? There was this kid who was in a boat, while his dad was snorkeling for fish and urchins and other marine life.  He was bawling his eyes out most of the time. I don’t know why though, whether he was afraid to be alone in the boat or he would just rather be on land playing, but he was a screamer.  Eventually, he stopped struggling and I was able to get some shots of this boy.  He looked perplexed when he saw me taking pictures.  You’d see the puzzled look he had in some of the pics.

So there, that caps off my final post for our Puerto Galera getaway.  It was a nice break, much needed, and much appreciated.  We found it very bitin since we were only there 3 days, so we actually have a couple of more vacations coming up before the year ends.  Just sharing the pics, hope you enjoyed them!
