PSYCHOLIES – Sweet Harmony (The Beloved cover)
Psycholies is a gothic-industrial/metal act from Italy. They began in 2014 in the city of Bari. Founded by Vigos von Lies, initially as a four-piece industrial/dark glam metal band. Early members included Frank (bass), Pablo (drums), and King (vocals). Their sound blends industrial metal, softcore, goth, and glam, producing a theatrical and dark style. Their live performances and visuals emphasize a deeply gothic aesthetic.
“Sweet Harmony” is a 1993 hit by British duo The Beloved, released on January 11 as the lead single from their album Conscience. It blends house, synth‑pop, and electronica, written and produced by Jon and Helena Marsh, and it reached No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart—becoming their biggest hit. It has had a handful of covers—including heavy metal versions, such as Ascend The Hollow’s. Ascend the Harmony.
Is it right or wrong Try to find a place We can all belong Be as one Try to get on by If we unify We should really try All this time Spinning round and round Made the same mistakes That we’ve always found Surely now We could move along Make a better world No it can’t be wrong
Let’s come together Right now Oh yeah In sweet harmony
Time is running out Let there be no doubt We should sort it out If we care Like we say we do Not just empty words For a week or two Make the world Your priority Try to live your life Ecologically Play a part In a greater scheme Try to live the dream On a wider scene
Let’s come together Right now Oh yeah In sweet harmony
