Playlist Deep Dive // driving in the desert

Trust me.

I know what you’re thinking. I know, I live in suburban Melbourne, the occurrences where I find myself ‘driving in the desert’ are slim to none on an annual basis. However, just because they’re slim, doesn’t mean they don’t exist. Sometimes, you find yourself on a super duper long ride with your friend Tess on the way to an unheard of festival on a farm that none of your other friends wanted to come to, and you just need…the vibe??

Here’s the vibe.

We’re doing another deep dive into one of my Spotify playlists, driving in the desert, which you can follow here. This is one of the playlists I created during the midst of Melbourne’s first lockdown last year, and here we are now in 2021, still thriving with this playlist, going strong. I love it like a child.

Here’s a list of my favourite songs from the playlist, but be sure to head to my Spotify to check it out for yourself!

Little Lion Man – Mumford & Sons Wasteland, Baby! – Hozier Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club – The Beatles Cherub – Ball Park Music Godspeed – Frank Ocean Beach Baby – Bon Iver Sleep On The Floor – The Lumineers Drive – Ironess Badge And Gun – John Mayer I’d Rather Go Blind – Etta James Forever You and Me – The Teskey Brothers Sundress – A$AP Rocky River – Leon Bridges

That’s just a few of the tunes from the driving in the desert playlist, and there’s plenty more where that came from. One of my 2021 goals is to really get the Spotify up and going, more-so than it already is, so throw us a follow and like the playlists because I’ll be regularly updating them all with new songs that fit the vibe just perfectly.
